The Crafty Craft Race
Crafty Craft organised by Newbury Round Table started in 1974 and has become a
major event in Newbury’s calendar, being described as the biggest FREE event in
Newbury.
The event involves many people from surrounding areas with starts for the race in
Hungerford and Kintbury, entrants from all over West Berkshire and as far afield as
adjoining counties.
Each year the event raises money for nominated charities. Since it started it has
raised over £200,000 for local charities.
