The race takes place along 10 miles of the Kennet & Avon Canal from Hungerford to Newbury.

The adult race starts from Dunn Mill Lock, Lower Denford, Hungerford.
The junior race starts from Kintbury Lock.
Craft start times are from 0830.
The finishing line is in Newbury alongside the Victoria Park.
Throughout the day (10:30am to 4:30pm) Victoria Park is the focal point for the fun, with amusements, rides, food outlets and a wide range of attractions to suit all ages.
